I think when faith is defined as "the confident belief or trust in the truth or trustworthiness of a person, idea, or thing", then there isn't much of an issue. I'm not going to get into religious faith though, either.

Stupidity is when you lack the intelligence or understanding to believe or trust in a person, idea or thing.
